BENCHTOPS

Stunning new benchtops can often be the foundation to inspire your kitchen, bathroom, work or living space, whether you are designing a new build or simply rejuvenating an existing space.

Advances in laminate mean that you can enjoy a hard wearing, low maintenance, non-porous surface at an affordable price. At Jasonblue you can choose from all the latest, stylish ranges available and we will manufacture to your exact design.

STEP 1. DRAW UP YOUR PLAN.

Simple hand drawn plans will be fine. Please ensure that your measurements are accurate and remember to give us your benchtop specifications, NOT your cabinets as we will make the measurements you give us. Your plan must allow for end panels, doors, overhangs or anything else your design requires.

Visit our ORDERING page for further info & printable order forms.

STEP 2. CONSIDER YOUR PROFILE.

There are a range of edging styles to choose from depending on:
A. The look you want.
B. The laminate you are choosing.
Most standard benchtops are made 33mm thickness, although you may specify another size.

Tightform 9mm: Suitable for all laminates.

Tightform 6mm: Suitable for all laminates (with a few exceptions).

Bullnose 180: Suitable for all laminates.

Squareform 4mm: ONLY Laminex Squareform range is suitable and is made on 38mm thickness.

Square Edging: Suitable for all ranges. (However in light colors you will see a dark seamline).

ABS: Laminex Diamond Gloss range have a specially matching PVC edging. Or choose from variety of other colors, patterns, wood grains or metals for contrast edges. Available in 33mm and 38mm.

WATERFALL ENDS: Always remember the overall length of your benchtop will increase by the upright width of the waterfall.

Note: If choosing rolled edges, you may also have a rolled END (likely for Island benches and open Breakfast Bars) However, when 2 rolled edges meet, the corner must be cut and flat square laminated, usually 35mmx35mm.

STEP 3. CHOOSE YOUR LAMINATE.

Visit our COLOR CHARTS page for further info and to browse all available options.
